The Acrylic Pouring bug not only has me hooked, but hubby has caught the bug as well!  If you read the last article I wrote you will know he helped me tremendously with getting started, getting set up and of course spending money! Because: buy all the stuff!

But now it’s his turn to learn! He really liked how my first pour came together, you can read about it here An Acrylic Pouring Beginning, and wanted to outshine me! Challenge accepted! If it’s gonna be a competition, he only gets the supplies I had for my first pour! Take that mon concurrent!

He started with the same cheap paints from the dollar store, nothing new was purchased, just used the leftovers, hah!

But, he used a marvelous amount of the “RainX”  where as I just used a few drops.

He chose to use a flat canvas vs the stretched canvas I had used, we purchased both styles in the very first run for supplies.

The gloves I had didn’t fit his manly hands, so he had to bring his own to the competition.

Ready?

Pretty colors!

HubbyPour5

How does he do that?

HubbyPour6

Look at that! I’m jealous already!

HubbyPour7

Wow! That is turning out amazing!

Methinks the student has become the master!

HubbyPour8

He applied a little flame and look at those cells POP!!!

Winner! Winner! Chicken dinner!!

HubbyPour9

 This is seriously impressive!

HubbyPour10

He got incredible cells!

Gotta be Beginners Luck!

HubbyPour11

Okay, okay I concede.

Yeah, he did an astounding job on his first pour! But wait!  I’m not gonna concede just yet! Let’s have a VOTE!

You all decide which first pour is better, and the loser has to buy dinner! Sound like a plan?

Vote for Hubby

HubbyPour12

Or Vote for me!

HubbyPour13

You all get to decide!!

In the meantime, there were some awesome suggestions in my first article as to what to do with white, black and gray paint, and we’ve got some exciting pours to share in the very near future!

God Bless!
